Crush Your Haters

How to win on the timeline

When you post online, one thing is guaranteed:

Angry comments

Haters, critics, trolls—they’ll come for you.

It’s tempting to ignore them. Maybe even log off for a while.

Don’t.

You’ll miss the chance to battle-test your ideas.

Every pushback is an opportunity to clarify and strengthen your message.

When I gave the Eclipse team a shoutout for their color-based branding strategy, a midwit replied:

Is this where marketing is in 2025? Colored backgrounds? Absolutely nonsense, it’s hard to take seriously.”:

Classic hater energy.

But instead of ignoring him, I leaned in and clapped back with a banger meme:

“If colors aren't important, please grayscale your app :)

And tell us how it goes (for science).”

Crickets.

Why? Because deep down, we all know it’s true. Colors stick.

The best brands know this.

It’s why Feid always uses greenBimma always uses purple, and Eclipse uses light green.

You’re going to meet doubters when you share your vision.

Stay calm. Use the challenge to refine your story.

It’s not a debate. It’s training.

The strongest ideas are battle-tested.

Lean in and crush the haters.
