mog chart?

Yesterday, I had insomnia.

Couldn't sleep at all.

So I opened up YouTube and started scrolling.

I've been helping my friend launch a relationship coaching offer, so my feed is full of dating advice lately.

And that's when I saw it.

The Mog Chart.

Mog chart

First, let's define Mog.

It comes from dating: AMOG for "alpha male of the group."

The one who controls attention. The Mog chart shows different attributes of a person and how they increase or decrease attention from women.

Now you might be thinking:

"Jax, WTF? This is a newsletter about marketing. Why are you talking about dating?"

Most people don’t understand that dating and business are the same.

As I stared at this chart at 2 AM, something clicked.

Tech startups live and die by the same rules.

Some command attention effortlessly.

Others struggle despite having better tech (or so they say).

Look at what happened with Pudgy Penguins.

The project was nearly dead.

Then Luca Netz bought it.

He didn't improve the tech. He improved the attention strategy.

Now they're in Walmart.

Most founders never make this adjustment.

They keep building better products, but nobody notices.

They keep explaining complex features nobody cares about.

They keep wondering why "inferior" competitors raise more money.

They fundamentally lack a plan to capture the narrative.

But maybe you’re different…

Are you ready to Mog your competitors?

Keep Building,

Jax

P.S. This month, I'm taking 2 founders through my Authority Blueprint System. It's the same framework that I'll teach leaders at the top L2 to become the dominant voice in their niche.
