The Lazy Founder's Guide to Growth

80 / 20 approach to lead generation

Most founders suck at Twitter.

Not because they're lazy people.

In fact, they're working 24/7 on the product but spending very little time marketing it.

Then they panic and outsource it to an agency that just bots the account or does token giveaways (yuck).

The Easy Approach to Twitter

Recently, I got six-pack abs (subtle flex I know).

But I didn't get them by running marathons or giving up date night desserts.

I had a simple plan and stuck to it.

  • 10k steps daily

  • Morning weigh-in daily

  • Sports or gym 5x weekly

  • Track most food in MyFitnessPal

The same applies to 𝕏. A few simple habits will change your entire client/user acquisition system.

The Lazy Founder's Twitter Plan

“So what habits do we need?”

  1. Post TWICE daily (morning/lunch).

  2. Engage with 10 accounts in your niche daily.

  3. Track what gets the best response and do more of it.

That's it. No magic.

Once we've nailed that we can get more advanced. Remember: simple then sexy.

Don't Overthink It

Your first 100 tweets will suck.

Your next 100 will be okay. By 500, you'll find your voice.

No shortcuts. Just showing up.
